Boiling Springs Golf Club

Woodward, OK

Boiling Springs Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-71 public course in Woodward, Oklahoma, located along the North Canadian River. It was designed by Donald Sechrest and opened in 1979, playing across roughly 6,500 yards on sandbelt terrain with dunes and river-carved elevation change. In 2013 the club undertook a major restoration led by architect Jeff Blume, removing invasive red cedar and reworking the greens and bunkers to recover the sandbelt character of the original design. Native grasses, oak, black walnut and elm trees line the routing near Boiling Springs State Park.

Redstone Golf Club (Falls)

Humble, TX

The Falls Course at Redstone Golf Club in Humble, Texas, was designed by Rees Jones and opened around 2000 as part of a larger golf complex northeast of Houston. Jones reshaped otherwise flat coastal-plain ground into a course with noticeable elevation changes, waterfalls, and a creek system that runs through several holes. The par-72 design mixes generous landing areas with well-guarded greens, giving both recreational and stronger players room to maneuver while still facing risk-reward decisions on approach shots. Bermuda fairways and greens hold shots well through the humid Houston season. The broader Redstone property later became known as the Golf Club of Houston, home to the PGA Tour's Houston Open from 2003 to 2019.

Mallard Cove Golf Course

Lake Charles, LA

Mallard Cove Golf Course was a municipal golf course in Lake Charles, Louisiana, owned and operated by the city on land later transferred to Chennault International Airport. In 2021 the city completed the transfer of the Mallard Cove property to Chennault, ending the original course's operation, and as part of the exchange the city built a new course, Mallard Golf Club, at a separate McNeese Street-area site designed by architect Jeff Blume. Mallard Cove itself, at its original location, is no longer an operating golf course.
