Lake City, MN
The Jewel Golf Club is Hale Irwin's lone Minnesota design, set in the Mississippi Valley bluffs of Lake City — known as Minnesota's South Shore — along the banks of Lake Pepin and the Mississippi River. The 6,915-yard, par-72 resort layout was designed with players of all abilities in mind while offering dramatic scenic vistas and demanding tests, particularly at the 11th hole — a 209-yard par-three requiring a carry over a pond to a heavily bunkered green in the shadows of a dramatic bluff. A scenic gem in southeastern Minnesota.
