About this course

The Jewel Golf Club is an 18-hole course in Lake City, Minnesota, routed through roughly 800 acres of bluff terrain above the Mississippi River valley. It was designed by three-time U.S. Open champion Hale Irwin and opened in 2005, with five sets of tees intended to accommodate golfers of varying ability.

The course plays to a par of 71 and stretches to about 7,050 yards from the back tees on bentgrass tees, fairways and greens. It is a member of the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program and has hosted state-level amateur and women's championships since opening.
