The Willow River winds through several holes on the front nine, creating a water-and-woods stretch that longtime members refer to as their version of Amen Corner. The club functions as semi-private, offering member programs alongside public tee times, and includes an extensive practice facility.

Northwood Golf Club is an 18-hole municipal golf course in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, operated for the residents of Rhinelander and Oneida County. The course was designed by Minneapolis-based architect Don Herfort and opened in 1989, using the area's natural rock outcroppings and rolling terrain typical of the Wisconsin Northwoods.
