Cider Ridge Golf Club

Oxford, AL

Cider Ridge Golf Club is located in Oxford, Alabama, bordering the Talladega National Forest at the base of Cheaha Mountain, the state's highest point. The property was once home to an apple orchard, and the course crosses varied terrain from a flood plain to mountain ridges. Bill Bergin of Bergin Golf Designs laid out the course, which opened in 2002. The front nine plays in a more traditional parkland style with tree-lined fairways and Choccolocco Creek in play, while the back nine climbs into rolling hills with dramatic elevation changes, mountain vistas and a natural waterfall on the par-three 12th hole along Little Hillabee Creek. Owned by the City of Oxford and managed as a public/semi-private facility, Cider Ridge plays to a par of 72 at roughly 6,946-6,978 yards from the back tees.

The Keep at McLemore

Rising Fawn, GA

The Keep is the second 18 at McLemore in Rising Fawn, Georgia, on the western brow of Lookout Mountain. Bill Bergin and Rees Jones designed it, and it opened for play in 2024 alongside the resort's original layout. The routing works along and back from the edge of the mountain, so several holes play toward long views out over McLemore Cove. Wide short-grass corridors, exposed brow-edge holes and a par 3 played from the rim give the course its character, and wind off the valley is a regular factor. The Keep is open to resort and public play, booked through McLemore.

Chariot Run Golf Club

Laconia, IN

Chariot Run Golf Club is a public course in Laconia, Indiana, about thirty minutes from downtown Louisville, Kentucky, set on open, largely treeless farmland near the Ohio River. Architect Bill Bergin designed the eighteen-hole course, which opened in 2002 as part of a nearby casino resort before Vici Golf Property acquired it in 2017. Wide fairways lined with natural fescue give the layout an American links-style feel, with bentgrass fairways and greens throughout. From the back tees the course stretches to roughly 7,200 yards at a par of 72, and it remains open daily to public play.

Dorchester Country Club

Crossville, TN

Dorchester Country Club is an 18-hole semi-private golf course with a par of 72 located in Crossville, Tennessee. The course was designed by architect Bobby Greenwood and opened in 1979 as part of the Fairfield Glade community. It is open to members, guests, and the general public with certain restrictions. The layout at Dorchester is not long by modern standards but provides a challenge through narrow, tree-lined fairways and elevation changes. Water hazards are in play on six of the holes, and the course features bent grass greens for a smooth putting surface. The terrain is undulating with several slopes to climb, making it a test of precision and skill. The wooded surroundings and well-conditioned grounds offer a secluded atmosphere for a round of golf.

The Cairn Short Course at McLemore

Rising Fawn, GA

The Cairn Short Course sits at McLemore Resort atop Lookout Mountain near Rising Fawn, Georgia, next to the clubhouse and overlooking the finishing hole of the resort's Highlands Course. Designed by architect Bill Bergin, it is a six-hole executive layout built in 2019 on the north side of the property. The short course is intended as a warm-up option or a family-friendly round, offering views of McLemore Cove and Pigeon Mountain shared with the resort's full-length courses. The Cairn operates as part of the private McLemore Resort, accessible to members, resort guests, and those staying in on-site lodging rather than to unaffiliated public golfers.
