The club traces to a nine-hole course built by local businessmen in 1922 inside what is now Devil's Lake State Park, before the course relocated outside the park in 1961 under designer Packard. Draper Creek runs through the property and comes into play on several holes. The course is a semi-private facility open to public play, with five sets of tees reaching about 6,591 yards from the back. The Fore Seasons Restaurant, known locally for its Friday fish fry, overlooks the course, which operates from April through October.
