Indian Creek

Hood River, OR

Indian Creek Golf Course is a public 18-hole course in Hood River, Oregon, located where the Hood River Valley meets the Columbia River Gorge. The course is surrounded by orchards and vineyards and offers views of both Mount Hood and Mount Adams from many holes. The layout was designed by course founder David Martin and takes its name from one of three meandering creeks that come into play on eleven of the eighteen holes. At roughly 6,224 yards from the back tees, the course places a premium on accurate shot making over sheer length, with dogleg fairways, white sand bunkers and stands of fir trees throughout. Indian Creek is open to public play with a pro shop, driving range and Divots Restaurant on site, and it is located just minutes from downtown Hood River.

Hood River, OR

Hood River Golf & Country Club is the oldest golf course in Hood River, Oregon, opened in 1923 with Mt. Hood visible from much of the property. The original front nine was designed by H. Chandler Egan, known for his work at Eugene Country Club and Tualatin Country Club, while the back nine was added in 1995 through wooded terrain with views of surrounding vineyards and orchards. The par-71 course plays 6,109 yards from the back tees across roughly 300 acres. It operates as a public daily-fee facility with reduced junior and twilight rates, and Tabby's Hole In One Clubhouse serves food and drinks after a round. A tasting room for a local winery sits alongside the clubhouse.
