Concord, NC

Rocky River Golf Club is a public course in Concord, North Carolina, near Charlotte Motor Speedway, with racing sounds from the track audible on parts of the front nine. Designed by architect Dan Maples and opened in 1997, the course is routed through rocky hills and natural wetlands along the Rocky River. An oversized boulder left in place during construction creates a distinctive tee shot on the third hole. The layout measures nearly 6,970 yards from the back tees with four sets of tees for different skill levels, plus a large practice facility with grass and turf hitting stations. The course is owned by the city of Concord and operated as part of the Embassy Suites Charlotte Concord Golf Resort & Spa complex, open to public play with resident and hotel guest discounts. Tee times are bookable online.
