Cashiers, NC

High Hampton Golf Club is part of the High Hampton resort in Cashiers, North Carolina, in the Blue Ridge Mountains near Chimney Top and Rock Mountain. The course originally opened in 1956, designed by George Cobb, and underwent a three-year renovation completed in 2021 under architect Tom Fazio, who rebuilt six holes and updated the greens and fairways. The par-71 layout plays to 6,903 yards from its back tees, with holes rising and falling over the property's natural slopes and finishing with the par-4 15th and 18th holes, which face the surrounding rock outcroppings. Play is arranged through High Hampton's residential club and the resort's inn, with tee times booked through the concierge for members and overnight guests.
