Marshall, MI

The Medalist Golf Club is an 18-hole public course in Marshall, Michigan, set on nearly 300 acres of wooded land and wetlands in the south-central part of the state. It was designed by architect William Newcomb and stretches to nearly 7,000 yards from the back tees, with five sets of tees available on every hole to suit a range of playing levels. The routing has a links-style character despite its inland location, and the club has hosted state-level amateur and junior championships, including Michigan Women's and Junior State events, along with USGA Public Links qualifying rounds. The Medalist operates a GPS-based food and beverage ordering system that delivers to golfers on course. A clubhouse pavilion hosts weddings and banquets in addition to regular tee-time play. As a daily-fee public facility, the course uses dynamic pricing that adjusts rates based on demand and time of booking.
