Golf courses in Jacksonville Beach, FL.

Jacksonville Beach, FL

Owned by the City of Jacksonville Beach, this municipal course underwent an extensive renovation in 2018 led by architect Harrison Minchew. The redesign introduced salt-resistant Platinum Paspalum turf on the greens and reconfigured the finishing holes to enhance playability. The course has a long history, originally opening as a private 9-hole facility over 50 years ago. Jax Beach is the quintessential municipal success story, offering a 'beach golf' vibe that is both relaxed and surprisingly refined. Since the renovation, the conditions have improved dramatically, making it a must-play for locals and visitors who want to enjoy the sea breeze without the resort price tag. The finishing stretch is particularly memorable and offers a fun challenge for any golfer.
