Rancho Bernardo Inn Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course in San Diego, California, about 30 minutes north of downtown in a valley setting with tree-lined fairways and elevated tees. It was designed by William Francis Bell and opened in 1962, hosting the PGA Tour's San Diego Open in 1964 and later LPGA events. The course is part of the Rancho Bernardo Inn resort and is open to resort guests and the public through JC Golf's tee time booking system, with a loyalty card offering access to other San Diego-area courses. Amenities include a pro shop, lessons and group/tournament services.

Balboa Park Golf Course opened in 1919 as San Diego's first city course. William P. Bell finished the 18-hole grass layout in 1933, and that design is still the base of the course today. Sam Snead holds the course record. The views take in downtown, Point Loma and the Pacific. Ted Robinson and Ted Robinson Jr. redesigned the grounds into a 27-hole facility, reopening as Riverwalk Golf Club in 1998 with three nine-hole nines: Mission, Presidio and Friars. Water comes into play on 13 of the 27 holes, including a signature hole with a waterfall beside the green, and the San Diego River winds through the layout. It is a public course open to visitors daily, with green fees varying by day of the week.

Ted Robinson designed the 2,719-yard layout on 46 acres, with four par fours and 14 par threes. Its short, walkable format serves beginners, juniors and experienced golfers working on their scoring clubs. Tiger Woods won a Junior World title here. The course has lighting for evening play, but the City of San Diego currently lists night golf as suspended while lighting work is completed. Harland Clubhouse is the course's current restaurant and taproom. The indoor-outdoor room, broad patio, casual food and Harland beers on draft give Mission Bay a genuine neighborhood gathering place beside the golf course.
