The Oaks at River's Edge is a public 18-hole course in Pontiac, IL, with bentgrass greens, fairways and tees among mature trees, sand and water. It opened as a 9-hole course in 1921, grew to 18 holes in 1975, and was bought by the City of Pontiac in 2021. Pontiac Parks and Recreation runs it.

Weibring Golf Club is located on the campus of Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois. The course was originally designed in 1962 by architect Robert Bruce Harris and opened for play in 1964. It underwent a major renovation in 2000 led by PGA Tour veteran and ISU alumnus D.A. Weibring, and was renamed in his honor in 2007. The 18-hole course plays to roughly 6,915 yards at a par of 71 and serves as the home course for the Illinois State men's and women's golf teams as well as local high school programs. Despite the collegiate ties, it remains open to faculty, students, and the public, hosting around 30,000 rounds a year along with a short-game practice area and the on-site Mounier Golf Training Center.

The Den at Fox Creek is a public course in Bloomington, Illinois, built as the city's third municipal course and designed as an Arnold Palmer Signature course. It opened on August 1, 1997, laid out in a Scottish links style with wild prairie grasses filling the rough around bentgrass tees, fairways and greens. Palmer played in the course's grand opening round and later returned for its formal opening event in 1998. The layout runs to roughly 6,900 yards from the back tees with wide fairways offset by 131 bunkers, and water comes into play on about half the holes. It has hosted the Illinois high school boys' state championship and is operated by the City of Bloomington's parks department, with a full practice area including a large range, chipping green and putting green.
