About this course

Texas Rangers Golf Club sits in north Arlington on the site of the former Chester W. Ditto Golf Course, a city-owned track that operated for decades before its rebuild. Arlington architects John Colligan and Trey Kemp led a 24-million-dollar redesign that reshaped routing, greens and bunkering, and the course reopened in February 2019. Branded through a partnership with the Texas Rangers, it plays as a resort-quality municipal layout with water in play on several holes, including a lake wrapping the fourth and fifth. It remains city-owned and open to public play. It also serves as home course for UT Arlington's golf teams.

Texas Star Golf Course

Euless, TX · 3.0 mi away

Texas Star Golf Course is a city-owned course in Euless, Texas, about ten minutes from DFW Airport. Built on roughly 200 acres set aside solely for golf, the layout has no surrounding home development and is cut through terrain that gives a Hill Country feel uncommon in the area. Keith Foster designed the course, which opened in 1997. Hurricane Creek runs through the wooded site and factors into several holes, including the 9th, 11th and 18th, while the routing includes elevation changes of forty to fifty feet in places. Foster left much of the natural terrain intact around the fairways. Owned and operated by the City of Euless, Texas Star is a public course playing to a par of 71 at roughly 6,900-6,936 yards from the back tees, with Bermuda fairways and greens.

Waterchase Golf Club is located in Fort Worth, Texas, within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, not far from DFW Airport. It features six sets of tees ranging from roughly 4,500 to over 7,150 yards, a mix of five par threes and five par fives, and a cascading waterfall visible between the ninth and eighteenth greens. Bermuda grass covers the tees, fairways and greens. Waterchase operates as a public course with an attached practice facility and has hosted a Texas State Open. It is a full eighteen-hole, par-72 layout suited to golfers of varying skill levels given the range of tee options.

Dallas, TX · 6.5 mi away

Bear Creek Golf Club sits near DFW International Airport in Dallas, Texas, and offers two 18-hole layouts, the East and West courses, both designed by Ted Robinson.
