About this course

Tatanka Golf Club at Feather Hill is a public golf course in Niobrara, Nebraska, built on land of the Santee Sioux Nation near the South Dakota border. Designed by architect Paul Albanese, the course opened in the mid-2010s across rolling hills and ridgelines with sweeping views of the surrounding river valley. Its name comes from the Dakota word for buffalo, reflecting the region's Native heritage. The layout has drawn attention from golf architecture critics for its dramatic natural terrain.
