About this course
The Mountain Course at Spruce Peak in Stowe, Vermont, was designed by architect Bob Cupp and developed as part of the Spruce Peak resort community below Mount Mansfield, opening in the mid-2000s as part of the broader Stowe Mountain Resort development. Reaching an elevation of more than 1,800 feet, the course winds through alpine forest and rock outcroppings, passing the Lake Peregrine snowmaking reservoir on the front nine. Despite a modest yardage, the course carries a high slope rating and is known for a strong collection of short par-4 holes and sweeping mountain views.
