The course in Soap Lake, Washington is known today as Lakeview Golf & Country Club, situated in the arid Grant County landscape near the mineral-rich Soap Lake for which the town is named.

The club was incorporated in 1949 and the course opened in the early 1950s, and it has operated continuously since as one of the region's longer-standing golf facilities. The layout is set across desert terrain with tree-lined fairways in places and sloping greens.

Lakeview offers a pro shop, driving range and dining area, and continues to host member and visitor play; carts, pull carts and rental clubs are available on site.
