About this course
Shadow Creek is a Tom Fazio design in North Las Vegas that opened in 1990 as a Steve Wynn project. The site was flat, empty desert, so the course was excavated and rebuilt from scratch, with thousands of mature trees trucked in and elevation created rather than found. Nothing about the finished property looks like southern Nevada.
The routing is fully enclosed by trees and berms, so golfers rarely see another hole or anything beyond the course. Water runs through several holes, the greens are large and the par-3 17th plays across water to a green set against a waterfall. Play is limited and every group goes out with a caddie.
Access runs through MGM Resorts properties in Las Vegas rather than a public tee sheet. The course has hosted the 2018 exhibition match between Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson and the PGA Tour's CJ Cup in 2020.

North Las Vegas
North Las Vegas, NV · 3.4 mi away
North Las Vegas Golf Course is a 9 hole, par 3 municipal course owned by the City of North Las Vegas, located at 324 East Brooks Avenue. Architect Jack Walpole designed the course, which opened in the early 1970s and was the first lighted golf course in Nevada, allowing evening play during summer. The layout measures roughly 1,100 yards with small greens that challenge accomplished players despite the short distances involved. Rolling terrain and mature trees give golfers views across the Las Vegas Valley. The course is well suited to beginners and seniors because of its length and lack of artificial hazards. A small pro shop and coffee shop operate out of the clubhouse. The city also runs an adjoining 18 hole disc golf course on the same property, and both facilities remain open to the public year round.
Sunrise Vista Golf Course
Las Vegas, NV · 4.5 mi away
Sunrise Vista Golf Course is an 18-hole golf facility on Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada, at 2841 Kinley Drive. The course, sometimes listed under its Falcon/Eagle nines, plays to a par of 72 at roughly 7,050 yards from the back tees. The course includes a four-hole par-3 layout in addition to its two nine-hole championship sides, and it sits beneath the flight path of Nellis-based aircraft. A restaurant, the Champion's Grille, and a banquet room serving up to 120 guests are on site. Access is oriented toward military members, Department of Defense personnel and their guests, with tiered green fees by rank and civilian rates also offered.
Aliante GC
North Las Vegas, NV · 4.9 mi away
Aliante Golf Club is a public course in North Las Vegas, Nevada, within the Aliante master planned community. Designed by architect Gary Panks, it opened to the public in December 2003 and was named Best New Course in Las Vegas by Vegas Golfer Magazine that year. The par 72 layout stretches more than 7,000 yards from the back tees, with a meandering arroyo affecting play on 14 holes and desert plantings including pear and purple locust trees not common on most desert courses. Two water features and generous landing areas balance the challenge for stronger players against a more forgiving experience for beginners. The practice facility includes a full driving range, putting green, chipping green and practice bunker. A clubhouse with a golf shop and grille overlooks the course and surrounding mountains, and the course remains a popular amenity for area residents and visiting golfers.
