Sand Creek Station Golf Course

About this course

Sand Creek Station Golf Course is the City of Newton's public course, about 20 minutes north of Wichita, Kansas. Designed by Jeff Brauer, it opened in July 2006. The course leans into Newton's railroad history: an active rail line runs through the property, and Brauer built a take on the Road Hole green at the 16th and a Redan-style par 3. The 12th hole is modeled on the fourth at National Golf Links of America, and holes 1, 2, 8 and 9 border Sand Creek. Five sets of tees are available, and wind is often a factor.
