About this course

Rooster Run Golf Club is an 18-hole public course in Petaluma, California, built on land that was formerly flat pastureland in Sonoma County wine country.

The course preserved three meandering creeks lined with native willows, cottonwoods, and oaks, along with two mature oak trees, while extensive earthmoving created rolling hills and elevation change across the routing. Six lakes, numerous fairway and greenside bunkers, and the area's only island green are featured in the layout.

Rooster Run is open to the public with resident and senior rate discounts, and includes a pro shop offering apparel and equipment. The course is used for outings and events in addition to daily play.

Eagle Vines Golf Club

Napa, CA · 19 mi away

Eagle Vines Golf Club is an 18-hole course in the Napa Valley in American Canyon, California, set among working vineyards, oak groves and cherry trees. The layout was designed in part by World Golf Hall of Fame member Johnny Miller, incorporating some holes that date back to the 1970s from the neighboring Chardonnay Golf Club along with newer holes Miller helped design in the early 2000s. Vineyard rows and rolling hills line many fairways, and a replica of the Swilcan Bridge from the Old Course at St. Andrews crosses a creek on one hole. Eagle Vines operates a membership program but is open to public tee times, with a restaurant on site offering views of the course. It plays to par 72 across 18 holes, with five regular tee sets plus two additional distance options.
