About this course
RiverWinds is a public 18-hole, par-72 course in West Deptford on a peninsula between Woodbury Creek and the Delaware River. Ed Shearon designed it and Pete Fazio shaped it, and it opened in 2002 on a capped brownfield site. The layout plays 7,086 yards from the back tees and uses sod-walled bunkers, native grasses and a mile-long burn to give it a links feel. Wind changes direction from hole to hole, and the 17th is a downhill par 3 to a green almost surrounded by the river. The 18th tee looks back at the Philadelphia skyline.
