About this course

River Crossing Club is a private course in Spring Branch, north of San Antonio. Larry Hawkins designed the 2001 layout, which uses the Hill Country's rolling terrain. The course plays 6,838 yards at par 72 from the back markers. Its large, undulating greens are consistently well-conditioned, making position more important than distance. Hill Country oaks and river-corridor ground give it a quieter feel than resort courses closer to San Antonio.

Canyon Springs Golf Club is a daily-fee public course in San Antonio, Texas, built on former ranchland once owned by the Classen family in the Texas Hill Country. The layout winds through mature trees and rolling hills, featuring two limestone waterfalls, several water features and remnants of the original ranch homestead, including stone structures and an old cemetery adjacent to the course. A loop-style routing gives each hole a sense of separation from the others, and five sets of tees accommodate a range of player abilities across the 7,077-yard, par-72 layout. The course underwent a greens renovation in 2020, replacing its putting surfaces with TifEagle Bermuda grass and Zoysia collars.
