About this course
Quail Creek Golf Course is a daily-fee course in south St. Louis County, Missouri, laid out over rolling Midwestern terrain with tree-lined fairways and multiple water hazards. It has operated as a public course for decades, serving local players, leagues and tournaments.
The course was designed by former U.S. Open champion Hale Irwin, working with architect Gary Kern, and opened to golfers in the mid-1980s. The layout rewards accurate shot placement over length, with narrow fairways on several holes and a slope rating among the higher figures for public courses in the St. Louis area.
Five sets of tees allow play from roughly 4,900 to 7,000 yards, accommodating a wide range of skill levels. The clubhouse includes two banquet rooms, a bar and grill area, and the facility also offers a driving range and lessons.

An old farmhouse site now holds the clubhouse, and a century-old smokehouse still stands on the property. Pevely Farms Golf Club
Pevely, MO · 13 mi away
Pevely Farms Golf Club sits in the Meramec River Valley near Eureka, Missouri, southwest of St. Louis, on land that was previously a dairy show farm. The course was designed by Arthur Hills and opened in 1998. The routing follows the valley's natural elevation changes, with several holes requiring forced carries over water and views across the river valley appearing throughout the round rather than on just one or two holes. Fairways are zoysia grass and greens are bentgrass, and the course plays to just over 7,000 yards from the championship tees. Pevely Farms is open to public play with tee times booked directly through the course, and it also hosts outings, weddings, and banquet events through its clubhouse.
