About this course
Prestwick Country Club is a Pete and P.B. Dye design in Myrtle Beach, opened in 1989 as a private club and open to public play since 2015. The par-72 layout stretches past 7,000 yards from the back tees with six sets of tees, Dye's signature greenside mounding, runoff collection areas and railroad-tie walls guarding a half-dozen greens. The ninth and 18th both finish alongside a large lake in front of the plantation-style clubhouse, widely considered the best finishing pair on the Grand Strand. Golf Digest once called it one of the Top 5 Best-Kept Secrets in America.

Arrowhead Country Club is a 27-hole daily-fee facility in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, laid out along the Intracoastal Waterway. The complex was designed by PGA Tour player Raymond Floyd along with architect Tom Jackson and features three nine-hole nines, The Waterway, The Cypress and The Lakes, each with a distinct feel across Bermuda fairways and Mini-Verde greens. The course opened in the mid-1990s and was later named South Carolina's Golf Course of the Year. It is open to public play and commonly included in Myrtle Beach golf travel packages, with practice facilities including a driving range and chipping and putting areas.
Man O' War Golf Club
Myrtle Beach, SC · 6.0 mi away
Man O' War Golf Club in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, features an "all-water" design by Dan Maples. Water is in play on every hole. The course is largely flat, with vast lakes and water hazards shaping play. Signature holes include the par-4 9th, which has an island green, and the 17th and 18th, which involve demanding water carries.
Blackmoor
Murrells Inlet, SC · 7.0 mi away
Blackmoor Golf Club is set on the site of the former Longwood Plantation in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, along the Waccamaw River in the Myrtle Beach area. River views, wetlands and moss-draped oaks reflect the property's agricultural past, and a Civil War-era graveyard sits on the grounds. The course was designed by Gary Player and opened in 1990, remaining his only design along the Grand Strand. Doglegs appear on roughly half the holes, and Player built the layout to be playable for average golfers rather than punishing from tee to green. Blackmoor operates as a public daily-fee course, playing to a maximum of 6,614 yards from the back tees with three additional forward tee sets. It remains a regular stop for visiting golf groups in the Myrtle Beach market.
