Biltmore Golf Course
Coral Gables, FL · 9.4 mi away
The Biltmore Golf Course is part of the historic Biltmore Hotel complex in Coral Gables, Florida, developed by George Merrick as part of his 1920s vision for the city. The course was designed by Donald Ross, with ground broken in 1924 and play beginning in 1925 and 1926. The layout retains much of Ross's original routing, including 84 of its 85 original bunkers, restored in a 2007 project led by architect Brian Silva using Ross's original plans and aerial photographs. Bermuda fairways and rebuilt greens now stretch to more than 7,000 yards from the back tees. The course operates as a resort and municipal facility tied to the Biltmore Hotel, open to hotel guests and the public, with a pro shop and practice areas on site.
Trump National Doral Miami - Red Tiger
Miami, FL · 13 mi away
Red Tiger is one of four courses at Trump National Doral in Miami, Florida. Gil Hanse redesigned the old Red Course, with bold bunkering and water on fourteen holes, and it reopened under the Red Tiger name in 2015. Two greens, at the 6th and 14th, sit on islands. The compact 120-acre routing and medium-sized greens give it a different feel from Doral's Blue Monster. From the black tees it plays 6,395 yards with a course rating of 71.8 and a slope of 136. Resort guests and the public can book tee times.
Trump National Doral Miami - Silver Fox
Miami, FL · 13 mi away
The Silver Fox course is one of four golf courses at Trump National Doral Miami, a resort in Miami, Florida. It opened in 1986 and is part of the Doral golf complex alongside the Blue Monster, Red Tiger and Golden Palm courses. Water comes into play on most of the 18 holes, and the course is covered in Celebration Bermuda grass with about 50 strategically placed, marble-white sand bunkers. Narrow landing areas demand accuracy off the tee, while the greens are generally true and fast. Five sets of tees allow play from roughly 4,478 to 7,006 yards. As part of a resort, the Silver Fox is available to hotel guests and club members, with tee times bookable through the resort.
