The course, previously known as The Raven Club at Sabino Springs, winds through mesquite-lined arroyos, rock outcroppings and nine natural springs. Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed the course, which opened in 1996. During construction, a biologist and horticulturists worked to protect desert wildlife and salvage saguaro cacti, many of which now stand throughout the property. The course operates as a semi-private facility owned by the Sabino Springs Homeowners Association, offering a pro shop, instruction and dining alongside member and public play.
