About this course
Mount Vintage Golf Club in North Augusta is a 27-hole Tom Jackson design spread across the rolling, wooded topography of Edgefield County. The original 18 opened in early 2000 as the Chester and Vintage nines and hosted the LPGA's Asahi Ryokuken International Championship from 2000 through 2004; Jackson returned to build the Independent nine, which opened later in the decade. Each nine has Champion G12 bermuda greens, bermuda fairways and five sets of tees, and elevation change is constant, with uphill or downhill shots of at least 30 feet on eight of the nine Vintage holes. Holes 5, 6 and 7 on Vintage wrap around Pavilion Lake and are the club's signature stretch. The clubhouse is a restored 1840s piedmont plantation house, and the homeowners association runs the club as semi-private with daily-fee play.

Midland Valley Golf Club is a semi-private course located in Graniteville, South Carolina, between Aiken and Augusta, Georgia. Architect Ellis Maples designed the course, which was built in 1960 and 1961 and remains a long standing fixture of the local golf community. The par 72 layout covers about 6,870 yards, with tree lined, walkable fairways set among towering pines and significant changes in terrain. Large, undulating Bermuda greens demand attention to uphill, downhill and sidehill lies throughout the round. It honors the caddies who have played The Patch since it opened in 1928. The Loop sits next to The Patch's redesigned 18-hole course, led by Tom Fazio and Beau Welling, and both reopened for public play on April 15, 2026 after a 16-month renovation. The project was carried out by Masters Tournament Charities, Augusta Technical College and The First Tee of Augusta.
