About this course

McNary Golf Club is an 18-hole course in Keizer, Oregon, just north of Salem, built on land that was once the family farm of U.S. Senator Charles McNary. The course opened in 1962 and was designed by architect Fred Federspiel, with Fred Sparks also credited in some records.

The layout spans about 150 acres of meadow terrain with mature oaks, firs, walnuts and pines lining the fairways. Claggett Creek comes into play on several holes, including the finishing par-5 18th, and small lakes with fountains have been added over the years for additional character.

McNary operates as a semi-private club open to public play, with a restaurant and lounge overlooking the course. It plays to a par of 71 and measures 6,239 yards from the back tees.
