About this course

Martindale Country Club opened for play in 1921 in Auburn, its front nine routed through woods and dairy pasture by brothers Alex and Fred Chisholm, prominent figures in early New England professional golf. Philip Wogan added a back nine in 1963, and Geoffrey Cornish and Brian Silva later carried out renovations, shaping the eighteen played today. Private for its first 88 years, Martindale is now semi-private with tee times available to the public. Recent years have brought clubhouse and course upgrades, making it one of the more established clubs in the Lewiston-Auburn area.
