About this course
Lincoln Park Golf Course was established in 1909, making it the oldest operating golf facility in North Dakota [1](https://www.gfparks.org/parks-facilities/golf-courses/lincoln/) [2](https://lincolngolf.org/the-course/history/). The Grand Forks course was originally an 18 hole par 71 layout but was renovated into a 9 hole par 35 course following the flood of 1997 [2](https://lincolngolf.org/the-course/history/) [5](https://lincolngolf.org/the-course/). The redesign incorporated many of the pre existing holes to accommodate a new dike system along the Red River [2](https://lincolngolf.org/the-course/history/) [4](https://lincolngolf.org/golf/).
