About this course

Lakeside Golf Course is an 18-hole public course in the rural community of Beverly, Ohio, about 17 miles north of Marietta along the Muskingum River valley. Jack Hart designed the course, which was established around 1959 in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains.

The par-70 layout runs roughly 6,300 yards and includes about 21 sand traps and more than a dozen water hazards across four sets of tees, with bluegrass fairways and bentgrass greens. A nearly 200-year-old building on the property serves as the clubhouse, housing a pro shop and snack bar.

The course is open to public play and includes a driving range and practice putting greens, along with an attached motel offering stay-and-play packages. Lakeside also hosts banquets and outings in an on-site event facility.
