Jug Mountain Ranch Golf Course lies just south of McCall, Idaho, on a 1,410-acre property beneath Jughandle Mountain that mixes dense forest, high desert sage and wetland terrain. The course was designed by Don Knott, formerly senior vice president of design at Robert Trent Jones II Group, who describes it as an alpine-links style layout. Panoramic views of McCall's East Valley accompany holes that wind through wetlands and forest, including a long dogleg 16th crossed by Boulder Creek. The 18-hole course is open to the public as part of a residential ranch community and offers multiple tee options for a range of playing abilities.
