About this course
This public course sits in Jefferson Park on Beacon Hill in Seattle, Washington, minutes south of downtown, with views of the city skyline and Mount Rainier. In 2024 the City of Seattle renamed the facility the Bill Wright Golf Complex, honoring Bill Wright, who learned to play at the course as a teenager and later became the first Black golfer to win a United States Golf Association championship. The grounds include an 18-hole course as well as a separate nine-hole executive course, along with a driving range with Toptracer technology, a pro shop, and the Beacon Grill restaurant. It remains open to public play with instruction available for golfers of all levels.

West Seattle Golf Course
Seattle, WA · 3.1 mi away
West Seattle Golf Course is a municipal layout designed by H. Chandler Egan and opened in 1940. The course moves through rolling ground near Camp Long, with a varied routing that asks for accuracy from uneven lies and changes character between its two nines. Several holes open views toward downtown Seattle and Elliott Bay, giving the back side a strong sense of place. Fox Den Grill is the course's diner-style bar and grill. Its casual clubhouse setting makes it a straightforward place for a meal or drink after the round, with none of the formality of a private-club dining room.
Interbay Golf Center
Seattle, WA · 6.3 mi away
Interbay Golf Center is a City of Seattle facility between Queen Anne and Magnolia, with a nine-hole executive course, a top-tier lighted driving range and mini golf. The par-28 course plays to about 1,300 yards, and the range is one of the busiest practice spots in the Northwest. It is where countless Seattle golfers hit their first ball.

Newcastle Golf Club - Coal Creek Course
Newcastle, WA · 7.9 mi away
The Coal Creek course at the Golf Club at Newcastle is a public 18-hole layout in Newcastle, Washington, on a hilltop site above Lake Washington. Robert E. Cupp designed the course in consultation with Fred Couples, routing it over rolling, well-bunkered terrain with elevation changes and undulating green complexes. From the tournament tees it plays to 7,024 yards, par 72, with a course rating of 74.8 and a slope of 140. The facility also includes a second 18-hole course and a large event clubhouse.
