Jacoby Golf Course is an 18-hole public course operated by the University of Wyoming on the east edge of its Laramie campus. Opened in 1972, it sits at 7,220 feet, making it the highest course in the Mountain West Conference, with views of the Snowy Range to the west. The course plays to a par of 71-72 and can stretch to roughly 7,247 yards from the back tees. Three ponds added in 2012 affect six holes. Jacoby serves as home course for the UW men's and women's golf teams, which practice at an adjoining indoor facility, and hosts local tournaments through its April to October season.
