The Great Dunes Course on Jekyll Island traces its origins to Walter Travis, his final design before his death in 1927, with the course opening the following year for members of the Jekyll Island Club. Set along the Atlantic coastline, it stands as one of the earliest examples of oceanfront golf built on the Georgia coast. After decades of alteration, restoration work has revived elements of the original Golden Age routing. The public course is operated through the Jekyll Island Authority, giving golfers a rare surviving link to the island's Gilded Age club era.

The Indian Mound Course is one of three 18-hole courses that make up Jekyll Island Golf Club on Georgia's coast. Designed by Joe Lee, it opened in 1970 and was later reworked in 1975 to add more of Lee's fairway bunkers. The course takes its name from oyster shell mounds left by earlier native inhabitants of the island, and it winds through woodlands, marsh, and lakes. It is the shortest of Jekyll's three courses, but its par 5s play tougher than the yardage suggests and water affects nearly every hole. Indian Mound is open to the public and operated by the Jekyll Island Authority, with tee times bookable through the resort. It also hosts the annual US Kids Golf Jekyll Island Cup.

The Retreat Course is part of Sea Island Golf Club in Sea Island, Georgia, on the Georgia coast near St. Simons Island. It is set apart from the resort's other two courses, Seaside and Plantation, and is surrounded by longleaf pines and native oaks. The course was redesigned in 2001 by Sea Island touring professional Davis Love III along with his brother Mark Love, who widened fairways and added length to open up the playing character of the layout.
