About this course
Glendoveer Golf Course East course is an 18-hole public layout located in Portland, Oregon. Designed by John Stenzel, the course opened in 1926 on a former potato farm. It plays to a par of 73 and is considered the more demanding of the facility's two courses.
The East course features tight, tree-lined fairways and small, fast greens. Hilly terrain characterizes the routing and water hazards come into play on three different holes. Towering Douglas fir trees line the paths and provide a scenic backdrop for the round. The facility was the first 36-hole golf complex in Oregon and also includes a tennis center and a nature trail.
