The 18-hole course was designed by Western New York architect Scott Witter and opened in the early 2000s. It plays to a par of 72 and stretches to about 6,416 yards from the championship tees, with tree-lined fairways on the front nine and a more open, links-style back nine with subtle elevation changes. Ironwood is open to the public during the golf season, roughly late March or early April through late October or early November, and includes a driving range with ball-tracking technology, a golf academy and space for outings and tournaments.
