About this course

Four Winds Golf Course is an 18-hole public course owned by the City of Kimball, Nebraska, sitting near 5,000 feet in elevation, among the highest golf courses in the state. The course spans about 320 acres that slope from south to north, and its name comes from the wind that can blow from any direction during a round. Originally a mostly treeless site, the course now has more than 5,500 trees planted throughout the property. Five sets of tees range from about 5,400 to nearly 6,900 yards, with bentgrass greens. Amenities include a driving range, practice putting green, and a junior golf program that is free to the public. The course closes seasonally from around January through mid-March and reopens for the rest of the year. Architect and opening year were not confirmed from available sources.
