Innisbrook Resort - South Course
Palm Harbor, FL · 5.0 mi away
The South Course is one of four eighteen hole layouts at Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor, Florida, on the Gulf Coast north of Tampa Bay. It was designed by Larry Packard and opened in 1970, making it the oldest of the resort's golf courses. The course has a links character, with rolling terrain, extensive fairway and waste bunkering, and water on roughly ten holes. At just over 6,600 yards from the back tees for a par of 71, it is shorter than Innisbrook's other courses but exposed to Gulf breezes that add to its challenge. The South Course is available to resort guests and members, with four sets of tees accommodating a range of playing abilities. Its greens were replanted with TifEagle Bermuda grass during a resort wide renovation program.
Innisbrook Resort (Island)
Palm Harbor, FL · 5.0 mi away
The Island Course at Innisbrook Resort is an 18-hole, par-72 layout in Palm Harbor, Florida, designed by Larry Packard and completed in 1970 as the first of the resort's four Packard-designed courses. It measures 7,194 yards from the back tees. The front holes run along Lake Innisbrook and lateral water hazards that call for accurate tee shots and approaches, the middle holes move through rolling terrain shaded by cypress and pine, and the closing stretch ends at a hole that has become one of the most photographed in Florida. The course has hosted U.S. Open qualifiers and NCAA championships. Innisbrook operates as a resort course open to hotel guests and club members, with tee times booked through the resort; a collared shirt is required and denim is not permitted.
