About this course
Douglas Community Club and Golf Course started in 1928 as a 9-hole course with prairie fairways and sand greens, built on land bought by ten local businessmen. The log clubhouse dates to 1930. Grass fairways arrived in 1965 and a second nine opened in 1977, making it a full 18-hole public course. Lakes come into play on several holes of the front nine, and the clubhouse restaurant is a local stop.

Trail Ruts Golf Course
Guernsey, WY · 46 mi away
Trail Ruts Golf Course is a nine-hole municipal course in Larson Park in Guernsey, Wyoming, named for the deep wagon ruts left by Oregon Trail travelers that still cross the property; the historic ruts remain visible on several holes. The course is owned by the town of Guernsey and combines golf with an adjoining campground, drawing visitors who golf and camp for extended stays through the April-to-October season. Amenities include cart and club rental and on-site cart storage. The course sits near the Oregon Trail Ruts State Historic Site and Register Cliff. It remains a modest layout by modern standards, with straight holes and small greens, and is best known locally as a golf-and-camping destination rather than a championship test.
