Crystal Lake Golf Club

Burrillville, RI · 3.4 mi away

Crystal Lake Golf Club sits on Route 102 in Burrillville, Rhode Island, on the shores of its namesake lake. The 18-hole parkland course opened in May 2004 and was designed by architect Howard Maurer, replacing a former dairy farm with rolling fairways framed by mature trees and water views. The 23,000-square-foot clubhouse houses a tavern restaurant open to the public along with banquet and event spaces overlooking the 18th green. Owned by the Bliss family, the club combines daily-fee golf with a busy wedding and events business, making it as much a gathering place as a golf destination in northern Rhode Island.

New England Country Club has occupied its property in Bellingham, Massachusetts since 1903, making it a long-running golf destination in the region south of Boston. Despite its public access, the club has the look and feel of a private course thanks to its rolling hills and tree-lined fairways. The 18-hole championship course was designed by Hale Irwin and offers multiple tee boxes that give each hole a distinct character for players of different abilities. The property is home to deer, fox, and other wildlife, and has hosted competitive events including New England Public Links Championship qualifying and NCAA Division II regional play.
