Clinchview

Bean Station, TN — Had't played here in a couple years. Course is in great shape considering the hurricane rain had it pretty wet. Greens were tougher than I remember. We'll definitely be back on a drier day to get the full effect.

I love each of the 9 hole courses. I seem to never get tired of playing Dandridge based on the change up of course order.

Dandridge Golf & Country Club stands as a testament to classic design and natural beauty, offering a unique 27-hole complex crafted by the esteemed Dan Maples. As one of the region's pioneering courses, Maples' philosophy, which prioritizes accuracy and strategic play over sheer power, is evident in every meticulously routed hole. The course gracefully navigates through a dramatic landscape of valleys, rolling hills, and dense woodlands, providing a visually stunning backdrop of the Great Smoky Mountains and the serene Douglas Lake. The lush Bermuda fairways and pristine bent grass greens ensure a consistent and enjoyable playing surface. The course's 27 holes, comprising three distinct nines, allow for diverse 18-hole combinations, ensuring a fresh challenge with each visit. While specific signature holes are numerous, the panoramic vistas from several elevated tees, particularly those overlooking Douglas Lake, are truly unforgettable. The playing experience is designed to be engaging for all skill levels, from the novice to the seasoned professional, with multiple teeing options ranging from 4,900 to 6,100 yards. This flexibility ensures that golfers can tailor the challenge to their game. Dandridge Golf & Country Club has earned recognition as one of the South's top golf destinations by Southern Living Travel Guide, a testament to its enduring appeal. This course is ideally suited for destination golfers exploring the Smoky Mountains region and locals seeking a consistently enjoyable and scenic round.
