About this course
The Squeeze is a 10-hole short course at Cabot Citrus Farms in Brooksville, Florida, built on the site of the former World Woods Golf Club roughly 45 miles north of Tampa. Architect Mike Nuzzo designed the course, which opened in 2024 alongside the resort's Karoo and Roost 18-hole courses and the par-3 Wedge course.
Holes range from about 100 to 550 yards, including one par 5, three par 3s, and six par 4s, with Nuzzo drawing inspiration from noted short par-4 holes elsewhere in golf. The course plays over the property's sandy, rolling terrain with varied green complexes designed to reward creative short-game play.
The Squeeze operates as part of the Cabot Citrus Farms resort, open to resort guests and the public for daily fee play alongside the property's cottages, dining, and other golf courses.

Cabot Citrus Farms - Karoo
Brooksville, FL · 11 mi away
Karoo at Cabot Citrus Farms in Brooksville, Florida, is a Kyle Franz design that opened in January 2024. It is a full rework of the former Pine Barrens course at World Woods, built on a sandy, ancient ridge with real elevation change, which is rare for Florida golf. Franz kept the sand as the defining feature. Wide fairways run between rugged, ragged edged sand areas, and the greens have bold contour with plenty of short grass around them, so recovery is often a running shot rather than a lob. Multiple tee positions on many holes change the angles of play from round to round, not just the yardage. The course plays to about 7,560 yards from the back tees and is walkable. It sits alongside Roost, the resort's other 18 hole course, plus two shorter courses, all part of Cabot's redevelopment of the former World Woods property. It is open to the public as part of the resort.
Cabot Citrus Farms - The Roost
Brooksville, FL · 11 mi away
The Roost is an 18-hole, par-72 course at Cabot Citrus Farms in Brooksville, built as a collaboration between Kyle Franz, Mike Nuzzo and Rod Whitman, with Ran Morrissett as design consultant. It opened in 2024 and plays over varied ground next to Karoo, moving from sandy scrub into rolling meadows dotted with dogwoods and native wildflowers and past a 40-foot-deep sinkhole. At roughly 7,200 yards it is the calmer, more restrained of the pair, with low-profile green settings that sit into the land rather than perch above it. The multi-architect collaboration behind it is unusual in modern course design and shapes the variety from hole to hole.
Cabot Citrus Farms - The Wedge
Brooksville, FL · 11 mi away
The Wedge is an 11-hole par-3 course at Cabot Citrus Farms in Brooksville, Florida, on Florida's Nature Coast about 45 miles north of Tampa. Architect Mike Nuzzo designed the course, which opened in 2024 on a portion of the resort's 1,200-acre property alongside the Karoo and Roost 18-hole courses and the 10-hole Squeeze course. Holes range from about 70 to 115 yards and feature large waste bunkers, sharply sloped greens, and varied lies drawn from the sandy, rolling terrain characteristic of the former World Woods property. Lighting throughout the course allows play after dark, including tee times as late as 9 p.m. The Wedge operates as part of the Cabot Citrus Farms resort, open to resort guests and the public for daily fee play alongside the property's other courses, cottages, and dining.
