Founded in 1970, it serves as the home course for the Kent State University men's and women's golf teams. Designed by Ed Ault, the course plays to a par of 70 over roughly 6,936 yards from the back tees, with rolling hills, more than 40 sand bunkers and several lakes set in a parkland setting. With only two par-5 holes, the layout leans on long, demanding par-4s to test accuracy off the tee and with long irons.
