About this course
Bluff Pointe Golf Course sits along the San Joaquin River in northwest Fresno, on land owned by the San Joaquin River Conservancy. Founded in 1989 as Islewood and later renamed under new ownership, it is a nine-hole executive-style course mixing four par-4 holes with five par-3s, with some par 4s drivable for longer hitters.
The course operates without tee times on a first-come, first-served basis and is open daily from morning to sunset. A grass driving range and short-game practice area with several bunkers round out the facility, which also hosts school golf programs at discounted rates.
