Bear Trace at Tims Ford is a state park golf course in Winchester, Tennessee, built on a peninsula surrounded by Tims Ford Lake. It opened in 1999 as part of the Bear Trace collection of Tennessee courses designed by Jack Nicklaus.
The front holes roll across former pastureland in a links-like style before the layout transitions into wooded terrain dominated by large oak trees. The lake is visible from most holes and comes into play on several of them, and the course plays to a par of 71 at around 6,764 yards from the back tees.
Operated by Tennessee State Parks, Bear Trace at Tims Ford is open to the public year round, with on-site lodging, a snack bar, practice facilities, and club rentals available.
