About this course

Auglaize Golf Club is a public course near the Auglaize River in rural Defiance County, Ohio, a short drive from downtown Defiance and from Fort Wayne, Indiana.

The 18-hole course was designed by William J. Spear and opened in 1963. Mature trees frame many fairways, with subtle elevation changes throughout; the signature hole is the eighth, a par three that requires a tee shot over water to a guarded green.

The course plays to about 6,400 yards at a par of 72 and is open to the public with no membership required, along with a full-service restaurant and bar on site.
