The Ocean Course at the Club at New Seabury in Mashpee, Massachusetts, opened in 1962 as a William Mitchell design and was formally dedicated with the resort in 1964. Nine of its holes run along the beach at Succonesset Point, giving golfers views across Nantucket Sound toward Martha's Vineyard, a stretch that earned the course the nickname 'Pebble Beach of the East.' Rees Jones updated the layout in 1988, and Bruce Hepner completed a further restoration in 2020 that rebuilt bunkers, reshaped greens, and enhanced the oceanfront setting on the front nine.
