Shakopee, MN

Stonebrooke Golf Club is a public course in Shakopee, Minnesota, that opened in June 1989 as the city's first golf course. It was built by local homebuilders Gary and Randy Laurent, who still own the club. The course was designed by architect Tom Haugen and plays through rolling terrain with mature trees, ponds, and wetlands. A notable feature is the par-4 eighth hole, which requires a pontoon boat ride across Lake O'Dowd to reach the fairway. The par-71 layout measures roughly 6,475 yards from the back tees. Stonebrooke offers a driving range, multiple tee options, and is open to public play with tee times bookable online or by phone.

Pequot Lakes, MN

Whitefish Golf Club is a public 18-hole course in Pequot Lakes, Minnesota, featuring a par of 72. Designed by Don Herfort, the first nine holes opened in 1968 and the back nine were added in 1983. Whitefish Golf features tree-lined fairways and a classic layout characteristic of the Brainerd Lakes region. The property includes wetlands and forested areas that act as lateral hazards on many holes. Large greens and strategic bunkering provide a challenge for players while maintaining an authentic atmosphere.
