Grassy Creek Golf & Country Club

Spruce Pine, NC

Grassy Creek Golf & Country Club is a semi-private course in Spruce Pine, North Carolina, set in mountainous terrain with long-range views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The course opened in 1956 and was designed by architect Ross Taylor. The 18-hole, par-72 layout follows rolling terrain typical of the region, with small, fast bentgrass greens. The course has undergone renovations over the years, including work on cart paths, bunkers, and practice areas. Grassy Creek is located about 30 minutes from Mount Mitchell, Roan Mountain, and Grandfather Mountain, and offers memberships along with dining and tee times for both members and visiting golfers.
